Overview

Your phone keeps a record of every call: answered, missed, and dialled. The History list is the quickest way to call someone back, and the missed calls list means you never have to wonder who rang while you were away from your desk.

Viewing your history

  1. On the idle screen, press the History soft key. All recent calls appear, newest first.
  2. Press the ◄ ► navigation keys to switch between the lists: All Calls, Missed Calls, Placed Calls, and Received Calls.
  3. Highlight an entry and press the Send soft key to call it back.
For more detail on an entry, press the Option soft key. You can view details, add the number to your contacts, or delete the entry.
Missed calls also show as a notification on your idle screen, so you’ll spot them the moment you’re back at your desk.

Frequently asked questions

How far back does the phone’s history go? The handset stores your recent calls (up to a few hundred entries). For anything older, use Call History in the Pear Portal, which keeps everything. Can I clear my history? Yes. In History, use Option > Delete All (button phones) or the delete controls (touch screens). This only clears the list on your handset; portal records are unaffected. A missed call shows a number I don’t recognise. Can I find out more? Check Call History in the portal. It shows which number the caller dialled and how the call was routed, which often makes the caller’s purpose obvious.
