Overview

Your phone’s Directory holds your contacts, so you can dial people by name instead of remembering numbers. Contacts saved on the phone also make your caller ID smarter. When a saved contact rings you, their name appears on screen instead of just a number.

  1. On the idle screen, press the Directory soft key.
  2. Select All Contacts (or a group).
  3. Scroll with the ↑ ↓ navigation keys to find the person.

Your colleagues

You don’t need to add colleagues manually. You can see every extension and who’s on the phone in real time from the Pear Portal:

Frequently asked questions

Are my contacts shared with my colleagues? Contacts you add on your handset are stored on your phone only. If your organisation would like a shared company directory on everyone’s phones, contact support and we can set one up centrally. How many contacts can I store? Up to 1,000, more than enough for the numbers you actually call. Can I block a number? The best place to block unwanted callers is the Pear Portal. See Number Blocking. Blocks made there apply to your whole system, not just your handset.
