Account Settings page

Overview

Account Settings is where you manage your own account. You can update your name and contact numbers, and change your password. Open Settings by clicking your name at the bottom of the left menu.

Profile

The Profile section lets you update the personal details on your account.

How to update your profile

  1. Go to Settings by clicking your name at the bottom of the left menu.
  2. Update your Name, Phone Number, or Mobile Number as needed.
  3. Click Save Changes.
Phone numbers are automatically formatted to Australian format (+61) when you save. You can type the number in local format (e.g. 0288660000) and it will convert automatically.
Your email address cannot be changed. It is the login identifier for your account. If you need your email updated, contact Pear Support via the Support link in the left menu.

Change Password

The Change Password section lets you update your password at any time.

How to change your password

  1. Go to Settings by clicking your name at the bottom of the left menu.
  2. Scroll down to the Change Password section.
  3. Enter your Current Password.
  4. Enter your New Password (must be at least 8 characters).
  5. Enter it again in Confirm New Password.
  6. Click Change Password.
After a successful change, you will be signed out automatically and taken back to the login page. Sign in again with your new password.
Changing your password signs out all your other active sessions for security.

Frequently asked questions

I’ve forgotten my current password. How do I reset it? Go to the login page and click Forgot password. You’ll receive a reset link by email. If you still can’t get in, contact Pear Support via the Support link in the left menu. My password change isn’t working. What do I do? Make sure your current password is entered correctly and your new password is at least 8 characters. If the issue continues, use the Forgot password link on the login page, or contact Pear Support via the Support link in the left menu. Can I change my email address? No. Your email is your login and cannot be changed from the portal. Contact Pear Support if you need this updated. Why was I signed out after changing my password? This is a security measure. Changing your password ends all active sessions so that only you can access the account with the new credentials.
