Overview
Call queues are groups that share incoming calls across a team. The My Queues section shows every queue you belong to and lets you control whether you’re actively receiving calls from each one.Your queue memberships
Go to My Extension in the left menu and scroll down to the My Queues card. Each queue you’re a member of is listed here with a status badge:| Badge | What it means |
|---|---|
| Logged In | You’re active in this queue and will receive calls |
| Logged Out | You’re a member but not currently taking calls from this queue |
| Paused | You’re logged in but temporarily not receiving calls |
| Member | You’re a permanent, always-on member. Login and logout don’t apply here. |
How to log in or out of a queue
- Go to My Extension in the left menu.
- Find the queue in the My Queues card.
- Click Login to start receiving calls from that queue, or Logout to stop.
Some queues show a Member badge instead of Login/Logout buttons. These are permanent memberships configured by Pear when your system was set up. They can’t be changed from here.
How to pause yourself in a queue
Pausing stops queue calls coming to your phone temporarily, without fully logging out. Use this for short interruptions like a bathroom break or a quick conversation.- In the My Queues card, find the queue you’re logged into.
- Click the pause button (the two vertical bars icon) next to the queue name.
- The badge will change to Paused. Queue calls will skip you until you resume.
How to join a queue you’re not in yet
- In the My Queues card, click Browse available queues at the bottom.
- A list of queues you can join will appear.
- Click Join next to the queue you want to log into.
